Elizabeth Lowry pursued her second bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky in Art Education under the direction of Professor Marty Henton and Professor Allan Richards where she began to see the importance of visual art for the young developing mind. Through various internships, ACE elementary Art club and Art Therapy in a Hospital setting, Elizabeth has experienced the importance of Art in her life and in the lives of those around her. She strives to give her students the expressive space and knowledge to grow their own visually creative voices and talents. She enjoys ceramics, oils, acrylic paint, charcoal and her favorite course to teach is intro to drawing.
