Our Classes

Paint, Draw Sculpt…

Our Traditional drop-in Classes incorporate the Elements and principals of art in a small group setting. We provide all of the instruction, art materials and fun. Students will learn and practice drawing and planning techniques in each class before deciding on a subject matter for the particular materials being used that day. We will also incorporate famous artists along with notable historical artists based on the topics covered. Quick one class projects will be the focus. Suggested ages and grades range from 2nd to 8th grade and will be noted on class descriptions.

Clay Creatives and more…

Some classes such as “Clay Creatives” and more classes in the fall and spring will meet on a weekly basis per semester rather then drop-in style. These classes will build on themselves and will help students improve artistic techniques and can even help them build a personal art portfolio if desired. Longer multi level projects will be the focus. Students will also have the opportunity to submit pieces to various art competitions and further educational and community based opportunities as they arise. Ages range from kindergarten up!

Mommy and Me…

Caretaker and me classes range from toddler to Pre-K and happen during the late morning or early afternoon. They incorporate Art-play techniques adopted by Lexington’s own professor George Szekely in which children, moms, dads and caretakers help get creative juices flowing in a fun interactive class.
